Nicole Gil, BSN, LPN, RN

Nicole joined the Liv Like Gia Foundation in 2023 and is a member of the Foundation's Scholarship Committee.


Nicole started her nursing career as a pediatric nursing assistant at Baptist Hospital. There she discovered her passion for helping children and transitioned to a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role caring for chronically sick children while she pursued her bachelor's degree. Following graduation, Nicole joined Nicklaus Children's Hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) for a year before traveling to Las Vegas and San Francisco while serving in a traveling pediatric emergency room nurse capacity. She subsequently returned home to South Florida and rejoined Nicklaus Children's Hospital as a supervisor. 


Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Miami-Dade College. She also hold a certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
